There is so much I have planned in the way of filming that I feel that as well as my blog I will also do a Vlog as well to give more info on what is going on behind the scenes at Shrambo Studios.
Will be posting Vlog on Youtube. Will post link once it has been posted.
Stay tuned.

My Lego Collection part 1.
I thought I would post pictures of me Lego collection. Ironically when I took these pictures I later went out and bought the Police forest station LOL.
So enjoy.
And no you can never have enough Lego.
These images with the one on top are Lego that is in the closet inside the Lego room.

Brick series.
When I tried my hand at amateur filmmaking it was very discouraging and frustrating. I had so many great things I wanted to film problem was no one could make a proper commitment to come out and film. When I gave up on that I was in a lull for awhile but kept writing and keeping any ideas I had not to far away. When I began to brick film it was baby steps at first at what I could do and not to do. But then a couple months into it I realized no more baby steps. I let myself go and began to come up with new and new ideas and revisited a couple of show ideas I had. What's up with Mario is one show that for some reason or another has never been able to get going. Countless attempts in live action never ever got it off the ground after many revisions. And sadly enough when I did it in bricks on January 26, 2011 it was dubbed episode 1 but soon fell under pilot. At one point I will return to Mario and try once again. The next project I went to tackle was a personal favorite of mine and others The HillbillyVampire Hunters.
Unlike Mario the Hillbillies were always ready to go but again it was lack of commitment on others that stalled it. Yes some film was done but sadly not enough. So it was a logical choice to bring them to life in bricks.
It took three episodes but the original Hillbillies who were cast to play the brothers hill finally reunited on episode 3.
Zach and Murray were next and those two were based on a shoot I did with Shrambo Studios creative consultant Paul Cairns. The title of the characters were different and if I am not mistaken it was Murray and Logan. Murray and Logan appeared in a one off that was turned into Beer Run and then an afternoon of random opinions we did. Two episodes in I have been very happy with Zach and Murray and have the next three episodes plotted out.
I am not afraid to try anything new and know there will some hit and misses. But at least now I am able to film what I want and not have to worry about my Lego's calling in sick or not turning up.
Great brick filming to all.

Batman First Encounter. My first brick film.
Like many people Batman is my favorite Super hero. If there is one hero I had to be Batman would be the one. Sure he has no super powers but as he has shown you don't need brawn to defeat your opponents.
With the best rogues gallery in of all of the comic hero's Batman to me has always set the bar for everyone else to follow.
His beginnings are tragic but his myth is legend. I have always had ideas of what would be great in Batman movies and the great Batman movies going back to the 1989 Batman which to me stands up really well to Batman Begins and The Dark Knight and the Batman animated series and the Batman are great fuels for my fire. Once I got into brick filming I have countless Batman films. Some great some well not to great. The thing though is they always seemed to follow Batman 1989 and Christopher Nolan's Batman movies. Not a bad thing but really okay what about something different a look at Batman's beginnings from a different light. Batman first encounter will deal with Batman very early in his career say 6 to 7 months into his crime fighting career. Up to this point Batman has not faced any real threats busting up small rackets and putting away pushers and dealers and other low level scumbags. Enter the crime prince of crime the Joker.
Though by name it is the Joker it is not the Joker we have come to know. Because like Batman this Joker is very new to the whole crime world. When Batman is first told of the Joker by Gordon he realizes after seeing his picture that he has faced him before he was the Joker.
That is all I will give away from the movie which I hope captures peoples imaginations and they can say "Yeah that could have happened." Instead watching it and saying "Not bad but its done already."
This movie is going to be a very big project for me and will handled very much like big screen project.
One scene will be shot at a time then edited then will be shown to 2 of Shrambo Studios top creative voices who will decided yay or go back and re shoot. Each step of this movie will be documented then put together as a DVD that will be loaded with tons of behind the scenes stuff such as documentaries and interviews and more. I have not set a release date yet for 2012 as the movie will be shot between other projects. The movie has been story boarded and for the exception of one role has been fully cast. I will update the films progress periodically so stay tuned.

Filming second Married with Vader.
Look out everyone as a return visit with the galaxies most dysfunctional family go's under the camera this weekend as Married with Vader returns for its second installment. When we first visited with the Skywalkers Darth Vader was having a rough day as work had sucked as usual and Padme had ignored him and gone shopping then Luke whined when he did not get his way then Leia stuck him with Wookie sitting. After such a lousy what else could go wrong for everyone's favorite Lord of the Sith you ask?
Well this time around we visit the Skywalker home on that fateful day when Luke blows up the Death Star.
What will fallout be like at the Skywalker household?
Stay tuned.

The journey so far.
Back in 2010 myself and my son began to get back into Lego. We had gotten out of it for awhile, but then slowly began to once again discover the wonderful world that is Lego. With some Lego at our disposal from before and some new Lego I was introduced to Lego Brick films by my son that were on Youtube. Now we all know all the great brick filmer's out there and they really got my attention and got my creative juices flowing again. I had been into film making for a few years but a lack of commitment from people soured me off of it so I had gotten away from filming. Now I had many ideas of things I wanted to film but interest from others. Once I saw brick films I thought yeah I can do this and start sharing my ideas and bringing them to the small screen. Shrambo Studios was soon created and on November 23, 2010 our first Brick short Batman.s a robot aired on Youtube. Now by no means was it a blockbuster as the whole stop motion concept was new to me but I was determined to self learn and get better as I we went along. After about 8 shorts of just using a video camera and stop and shooting each scene I finally grasped the whole picture method and from there went forward. Now I can happily say I have made many friends along the way and to me the whole experience for me is meeting new people and interacting with other brick filmer's. I am still learning with each brick short I make and will always push ourselves to get better with each short. Filming can definitely be long tiring process at times but at the end of the day when you see the final product you know it was all worth it and you then look forward to the next shoot. Great brick filming everyone and welcome to Shrambo Studios.
